The laboratory network, with the aim of increasing the productivity of the country's laboratory infrastructure, has launched a platform for sharing devices and providing laboratory services and supporting the quantitative development and quality improvement of laboratory services.
The laboratory network customer club has also facilitated receiving services from network member centers by providing research and various subsidies to faculty members and students.
Technology is generally defined as the practical use of knowledge to make a product or perform a task. In this century, human life is completely dependent on technology. Technology is considered as the most important base for achieving wealth and social welfare. Therefore, moving towards a knowledge-based and sustainable economy is not possible without the development of technology. In this regard universities are the most important source of technology production as well as educating and training specialized forces in industry with the aim of achieving a knowledge-based economy.

Textile engineering department (TED) was established in 1984 at Isfahan University of technology (IUT).
Mission Statement
TED is dedicated to advancement of textile technology, color science, chemistry and processing of polymers and fiber engineering. TED focuses on training specialist graduates at B.Sc., M.Sc. and PhD levels for fundamental and applied research.
