Joint Session of Amirkabir University of Technology, Isfahan University of Technology, and the Association of Iran Textile Industries

On Tuesday morning, Shahrivar 24th, the Deans of the Textile Engineering Faculties of Amirkabir University of Technology and Isfahan University of Technology, accompanied by a delegation of their respective faculty members, were hosted by the Association of Iran Textile Industries.
Convened subsequent to the participation of Textile Engineering Faculty representatives in previous Board of Directors meetings of the Association, and in alignment with prior planning for joint scientific, educational, and industrial collaborations, this session was attended by Dr. Amani, Dr. Latifi, Dr. Nosrati, and Dr. Yousefzadeh from Amirkabir University of Technology, as well as Dr. Shanbeh, Dr. Izadan, and Dr. Khoddami from Isfahan University of Technology. During the meeting, comprehensive discussions and exchanges of perspectives were held concerning the implementation of educational courses, the formulation of research projects, and the design of curriculum structures tailored to the requisite demands of the industry.
Engineer Emami Raouf, the Secretary of the Association of Iran Textile Industries, commended the universities' innovative approach toward fostering industry-academia relationships. He expressed optimism that by formulating joint initiatives and identifying shared national concerns, the integration of advanced sciences and emerging technologies into the textile industry could be further incentivized. Furthermore, he emphasized utilizing the substantial potential of academia to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of the industrial sector.
The Secretary of the Association of Iran Textile Industries identified the establishment of national research projects across diverse sectors of the textile industry as a core interest and priority of the Association. This encompasses strategic planning to engage with industrial units to resolve operational challenges pertaining to productivity, process optimization, cost reduction, environmental preservation, and the application of artificial intelligence alongside cutting-edge technologies for industrial development. He welcomed the initiation of specialized industrial projects with the Association's member units and expressed anticipation that sustained follow-ups will yield highly favorable outcomes regarding joint events and collaborative projects.
